Insurance & Professional Membership With IICT
After completing your Performance Nutrition Expert (PNE) & ISSN Certification through the GPNi you are eligible to register with International Institute of Complimentary Therapists (IICT) as a professional member. With this Professional Membership you can become eligible to insure yourself for sports nutrition programming, meal plans, and supplement program for your clients.
This is currently covered and only available to GPNi students based in Australia & New Zealand. GPNi is applying also for students in the regions below to be eligible also in these regions below:
- United States of America (Subject to State Local Regulations in US)
- Canada
- United Kingdom
- All European Countries
- South Africa
In early 2023 the above countries and regions status will be announced on eligibility after being successfully approved by IICT.
To be approved by the IICT the GPNi courses, certifications and education all need to be top of their class. A rigorous and lengthy approval process by the administration and legal department at the IICT is therefore conducted. Only high-quality educators and certifications are approved by the IICT and eligible for their students to be Professional Members together with Insurance coverage. Very few sports nutrition certifications in the world offer such authority and coverage, rest assured the GPNi courses and certifications do.

To be eligible in retaining your Professional Membership status and insurance with the IICT, continued education is extremely important you need to also ensure to complete your obligation Continued Education Credits every two years. Further lists of retaining your professional membership, eligibility as a qualified Sports Nutritionist will also be available in 2023.
